We are so excited to partner with local police, fire, and EMS departments to create programs that will benefit employees, their families, and the departments where they work. Comprehensive mental health programs for first responders are one of the best ways that our community can respond to the hardships these individuals experience in their line of work.
The staff at Restoration Behavioral Health have been pioneers in the mental health treatment of first responders and their families and have simultaneously been working with our local law enforcement to achieve the integration of mental wellness throughout those departments to support healthy officers who not only survive but thrive throughout the longevity of their careers.
Clinicians at Restoration are dedicated to understanding the unique culture of first responders by staying up to date on research in the field of mental health and public safety, holding round table discussions with our participating agencies, and going on ride-alongs to be sure we are keeping our finger on the pulse of the departments we work with.
We believe that to effectively service the first responders and the departments at which they are employed, we must approach the work in a three-prong model, addressing the individual, their family, and the health of the department itself.
By creating comprehensive wellness packages that address this framework, we believe we are effecting change that will assist the departments that we partner with at bettering not only the department but the community they serve.
